Job Summary:

Provides behind the wheel instruction for students in the Driver Education Program. Requires record-keeping and coordination with classroom instructors for student activities.

Required Qualifications:

Driver’s License, current CPR/First-Aid Card, and Oregon Department of Transportation Approved Instructor Certificate.

Requires successful completion of a background screening including criminal history, as a condition of employment. The college will conduct background screening on those not previously screened.

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants with bus driver or police officer training background are preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Must be able to travel to any LBCC center in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon and Sweet Home.

Essential Duties:

Teach course content so that students understand and meet course objectives.

Promote an effective learning environment which contributes to each student’s success.
